INTERVAL INTERNATIONAL AFFILIATES ROYAL CLUB AT DOWNTOWN DUBAI
MIAMI, FL, April 11, 2008 – Interval International, a leading provider of vacation services, has affiliated Royal Club at Downtown Dubai to its global vacation exchange network. Royal Club at Downtown Dubai is the second project from developer Pervaiz Naviede. The first, Royal Club at the Palm – Jumeirah, was Dubai’s first timeshare resort and has already sold out.
The 100-unit property is situated in Downtown Dubai, one of the most sought-after addresses in Dubai. Occupying the top 20 floors of the Hydra Tower, the resort is only 300 meters from the Dubai Mall, which will be on completion the world’s largest shopping mall, and 500 meters from Burj Dubai, already the world’s tallest building.
Al Mohannad Sharrafuddin, founder of Arabian Falcon Holidays, the marketer behind the Royal Club properties, comments, “The Royal Club at the Palm exceeded all our expectations. So it was not long after the resort sold out that the decision was taken to open another property. The Palm is recognised globally as an iconic development, a wonder of the modern world, so the second development needed to reflect the same aura of quality and prestige. Downtown Dubai is definitely the right place for the second project,” informs Sharafuddin. “It is the new heart of the city.”
"We are delighted that Royal Club at Downtown Dubai is joining our network of resorts,” said David Clifton, Interval International’s managing director for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. “Arabian Falcon and Pervaiz Naviede have been pioneers in bringing vacation ownership to Dubai and this latest project is testament to the potential for the industry in this region.”
