INTERVAL INTERNATIONAL NAMES SHARON FREED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF CONSUMER MARKETING
Miami, FL, May 3, 2005 — Interval International, a leading global vacation exchange company, today announced the appointment of Sharon Freed as senior vice president of consumer marketing.
Ms. Freed is responsible for leading the strategic design and deployment of the membership marketing and product development activities across the customer lifecycle. In this role, she directs the company's efforts to create programs that build on existing customer relationships and support acquisition, loyalty, and retention efforts. She reports to Jeanette Marbert, chief operating officer.
Before joining Interval, Ms. Freed spent 11 years with American Express, in various strategic marketing and general management roles in both domestic and international capacities. Most recently, she was vice president of customer engagement and loyalty for Latin America and the Caribbean.
"Sharon's experience in strategic marketing, as well as her customer loyalty and servicing expertise make her a tremendous addition to the company," Marbert said . Ms. Freed earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania with a marketing concentration from the Wharton School of Business and her M.B.A. from Cornell University.
