JAY WILSON PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT, RESORT SALES AND SERVICE

 

Miami, FL, June 1, 2011 – Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services and an operating business of Interval Leisure Group (Nasdaq: IILG), announced the promotion of Jay Wilson to vice president, resort sales and service. He continues to report to Bryan Ten Broek, senior vice president, resort sales and business development.

Based in Interval’s Orlando office, Wilson oversees the company’s United States-based corporate accounts. He also has responsibility for directing sales and service activities and building the client base in the Central Florida, Rocky Mountain, Western Canada, and Hawaii territories.

“Jay has excelled in a number of leadership roles during his 20-year career with Interval,” said Ten Broek. “His relationships with our key clients are invaluable and will serve him well in his expanded role with the company.”

He was most recently assistant vice president, resort sales and service. Prior to Interval, he was employed by Marriott Vacation Club International.

Wilson has been an active participant in the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), the vacation ownership industry’s trade association, and served on its Meetings, Membership Development, and several Legislative committees. He earned the distinction of Registered Resort Professional, the resort timeshare industry’s highest individual designation. He is also a member of the Leadership Circle of United Way.

A native of Knoxville, Wilson graduated from The University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
