Miami, FL, October 8, 2010 – Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services and an operating segment of Interval Leisure Group (Nasdaq: IILG), has added The Reef Playacar Resort and Spa, in the heart of Mexico’s Riviera Maya, to its quality exchange network. Situated in the town of Playa del Carmen, the beachfront property features 202 suites surrounded by lush tropical gardens.

For an additional charge, guests are welcome to schedule a massage at the state-of-the-art spa, a romantic dinner with champagne, or a beach wedding. Scuba diving excursions, lessons and certification, and parasailing and wave runner rentals are available through the marina dive shop. Tee times reservations can be made at the 18-hole (par 72) golf course across the street.
Nearby attractions include the Mayan ruins at Tulum, the eco-theme park Xcaret, nature sanctuaries, crystal-clear ponds (known locally as cenotes), the island of Cozumel, and the city of Cancun. The resort is steps from shopping on Playa del Carmen’s famed 5th Avenue.
