Resort Staff Learns About The Latest In Vacation Ownership Trends
MIAMI, FL, May 17, 2006 — Interval International, a leading global vacation exchange company, recently hosted its Info-Exchange Seminar at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay Hotel & Marina. Nearly 200 industry professionals from around the U.S., Caribbean, Mexico, and Canada attended the event. Info-Exchange is a unique educational program created by Interval and designed to provide insight on various topics to resort personnel, including sales, marketing, and operations at Interval-affiliated resorts.
The two-day seminar gave attendees a comprehensive overview of Interval's products and services, as well as evolving trends in the vacation ownership industry. This year's agenda featured expanded sessions on sales, marketing, and financial services to help resort teams maximize sales efforts and better assist their owners.
Featured speakers at the seminar included: Craig Nash, chairman and chief executive officer of Interval International; Howard Nusbaum, president and chief executive officer of the American Resort Development Association; and Peter C. Yesawich, Ph.D., chairman and chief executive officer of Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell. The program also included a tour of Interval's 60,000-square-foot state-of-the-art Member-Services Center.
Info-Exchange seminars are held throughout the year. The conferences are accredited by American Resort Development Association (ARDA), which enables attendees to receive credit toward their vacation ownership industry certification (Associate Resort Professional [ARP] or Registered Resort Professional [RRP]).
