INTERVAL INTERNATIONAL NAMES TOREY MARCUS EDITORIAL DIRECTOR
Miami, FL, August 11, 2006 — Interval International, a leading global vacation exchange company, announced the promotion of Torey Marcus to editorial director in the creative services department.
In this capacity, he directs the copy development for print and electronic consumer communications for North America, Asia, and the South Pacific. In addition to serving as managing editor for Interval World's North American edition, Marcus provides editorial direction for regional editions of Interval World magazine, the Go travel supplements, and various electronic communications.
"Torey has made significant contributions to our print and electronic publications since he joined the department," said Edrea Kaiser, vice president of creative services for Interval International. "I am confident that he will continue to be a valuable asset to Interval in his expanded role."
Marcus joined Interval in January 2005 as senior editor, managing Interval World magazine as well as two editors who work on the consumer magazines and the company's Resort Directory. He has more than ten years experience in the publishing industry. Marcus received a bachelor of arts degree in communications from the State University of New York at Oswego and completed coursework toward a master's in journalism at Ohio University.
