INTERVAL INTERNATIONAL PROMOTES MADELINE BERGES TO VICE PRESIDENT OF E-COMMERCE AND DIGITAL MARKETING

 

Miami, FL, June 20, 2013 – Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services and an operating business of Interval Leisure Group (Nasdaq: IILG), announced the promotion of Madeline Berges to vice president of e-commerce and digital marketing. She continues to report to Sharon Freed, senior vice president of consumer marketing.

In her role, Berges oversees IntervalWorld.com, the company’s member website, other online consumer marketing platforms, and new product technology. In addition, she is responsible for all social-media initiatives, including Interval Community—one of the largest timeshare social networking forums in the world—and the strategic expansion of other channels. She recently guided the enhancement of the Interval International App and a refresh of IntervalWorld.com, which features increased search capabilities, informative content for those researching the shared ownership industry, and a comprehensive video library. The company’s YouTube channel, Interval’s World of Timeshare, also hosts videos found on the Interval HD page of the website.

Berges joined Interval in 2001 as manager of business development in the resort sales and service department. She later transitioned to consumer marketing and was subsequently promoted to director and assistant vice president. She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Barry University.
