INTERVAL INTERNATIONAL NAMES FEDERICO SABORIO DIRECTOR OF RESORT SALES & SERVICE FOR MEXICO AND CENTRAL AMERICA
MIAMI, FL, July 5, 2005 — Interval International, a leading global vacation exchange company, announced the appointment of Federico Saborio to the position of director of resort sales & service for Mexico and Central America.
In his new role, Saborio will oversee Interval's presence in these markets and direct the day-to-day sales and service activities. He will be responsible for servicing Interval's existing affiliated resorts, providing sales and marketing support, as well as building Interval's developer client base in the region.
"We are extremely pleased that an individual with Federico's experience in sales and marketing is joining our team," said David C. Gilbert, executive vice president of resort sales and marketing. "He will be an asset to Interval as we continue to grow our business in the Mexican market, which is a priority for the company."
Before joining Interval, Saborio was sales and marketing director for Ideas Interactivas S.A. de C.V., an advertising company that markets print and electronic telephone directories under the Yahoo! brand in Mexico. Prior to that, he held executive-level positions with Santander Mexicano S.A. de C.V. Afore, CP Clare Corporation, and Consejo Regional de Uniones de Crédito.
Saborio earned a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the Universidad Panamericana in Guadalajara, Mexico, and a management and finance certificate from the University of California Berkeley.
