INTERVAL INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT AREA REPRESENTATIVE’S CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER FOR SOUTH PACIFIC AREA
Sean Farquhar To Oversee Member and Developer Activities
Christchurch, New Zealand (28 February 2003) – Vacation Management Limited (VML), the South Pacific Independent Area Representative for Interval International, Inc., today announced that it has appointed Sean Farquhar as Chief Operating Officer for its business in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. Mr. Farquhar joins VML from Hospitality Marketing Concepts, Inc., a Singapore based hotel loyalty membership organization where he was Regional Operations Director. Prior to joining HMC, Mr. Farquhar worked for six years with RCI Asia-Pacific Pte Ltd, most recently as Director of Business Development.
According to VML Director Martyn Rix, the appointment fills a key vacancy in the growing operation. “Sean comes to us with a strong track record and recommendation. We look forward to him supporting our constant movement forward in this dynamic marketplace,” said Mr. Rix.
Mr. Farquhar and his family will be moving to the VML base of operations in Christchurch, New Zealand. “This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative company in a wonderful part of the world,” Mr. Farquhar remarked today.
He will report to the Board of Vacation Management Limited, and will oversee all operational activities including both member and developer services.
