INTERVAL INTERNATIONAL IS TOP-LEVEL SPONSOR
OF ALTERNATIVE OWNERSHIP CONFERENCE ASIA PACIFIC,
REINFORCING IMPORTANCE OF REGION TO VACATION OWNERSHIP INDUSTRY

 

Miami, Florida, March 18, 2015  – Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services and an operating business of Interval Leisure Group (Nasdaq: IILG), announced that it is a top-level Patron sponsor of the Alternative Ownership Conference Asia Pacific (AOCAP) in Singapore, reinforcing the importance of this thriving region to the company and the vacation ownership industry.

Interval has worldwide representation at AOCAP, with executive speakers and a session moderator from company offices in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. They include Gilbert, who is a panelist in a discussion in which industry leaders share their views. During the session, he is presenting highlights of Interval’s Asian member survey, such as the noteworthy finding that one-third of respondents expressed an interest in purchasing additional holiday time in the future — a higher percentage than members in other regions have indicated in similar studies.

Darren Ettridge, senior vice president of resort sales and business development for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia for Interval, is serving as moderator for a panel examining operational nuances in shared ownership. Kit Whalley, Interval’s business development director for Asia, is also participating in the conference, contributing his expertise to the timely topic of marketing to today’s affluent Asian consumers.
