INTERVAL INTERNATIONAL PROMOTES
RESORT SALES AND SERVICE EXECUTIVES IN WESTERN MEXICO
MIAMI, FL, March 27, 2013 – Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services and an operating business of Interval Leisure Group (Nasdaq: IILG), announced the promotions of Juan Pablo Gomez to region director for western Mexico, and Veronica Montes to region manager for the same territory, in its resort sales and service department.
In his new role, Gomez oversees the company’s presence and plays a lead role in building its developer client base in the region. He also serves in the same capacity for Preferred Residences®, a branded membership and exchange program for luxury shared ownership resorts, private residence clubs, and condominium-style hotels. Gomez joined Interval in 2007 as region manager for northern Mexico and is based in Los Cabos. He reports to Marcos Agostini, senior vice president of resort sales and business development for Latin America.
“Over the past five years, Juan Pablo contributed to the company’s growth in Mexico and successfully developed and expanded client relationships,” noted Agostini. “I am delighted that he will lead the team in this new territory and look forward to working closely with him.”
Montes is based in Mexico City and provides sales, marketing, and operations support to Interval’s existing affiliated resorts and helps to build the client base in western Mexico. She began her career with the company as resort sales and service assistant in 1999 and most recently was account executive for the south Pacific coast of Mexico. She reports to Gomez.
“The knowledge and experience that Veronica has acquired during her tenure with the company serves her well in her expanded role and makes her a valuable resource for the team,” Agostini added.
