INTERVAL INTERNATIONAL PROMOTES SORAYA GONZALES TO VICE PRESIDENT OF RESORT ASSISTANCE AND CLIENT SERVICES FOR THE AMERICAS
Miami, FL, October 19, 2017 – At Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services, announced the promotion of Soraya Gonzales to vice president of resort assistance and client services for the Americas. Based in Miami, she oversees the working relationship between the company and the resorts affiliated with its Quality Vacation Exchange Network. She reports to Marcos Agostini, Interval’s executive vice president of global sales and business development.
"For more than 25 years, Soraya has been a key part of the team developing and maintaining excellent relationships with Interval clients," Agostini said. "She has played an important role in implementing the operations processes between our company and resort affiliates, and skillfully guided our resort assistance group. Her industry knowledge and expertise will be invaluable in her new role."
Among Gonzales' other responsibilities are the management of the resort assistance Latin America division, providing homeowners’ association board support, resort technology, and inventory verifications.
Gonzales joined Interval in 1989 as the operations manager of the travel department, and has since held several leadership positions, most recently as assistant vice president of resort assistance.
Long active in the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), she earned the Registered Resort Professional (RRP) designation, the resort timeshare industry's highest individual distinction.
