INTERVAL INTERNATIONAL HONORED WITH GLOBAL

INNOVATION AWARD

 

Miami, Florida, February 25, 2014  Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services and an operating business of Interval Leisure Group (Nasdaq: IILG), received Perspective magazine’s “Best Innovation” award at the fourth annual Global Networking Expo held recently in Sarasota, Florida.

“We’re very pleased the Interval Exchange Tracker, a key feature of the Interval Sales Tool Kit app, was recognized as the year’s best innovation,” said Jay Wilson, Interval’s vice president of resort sales and service. “The Exchange Tracker’s nearly real time display of actual exchange activity adds a new layer of transparency to timeshare sales presentations, which appeals to a new generation of buyers.”

Available for download from Apple’s App Store and at IntervalWorld.com, the Exchange Tracker shows on an interactive world map the ever-changing patterns of vacation exchange activity across Interval’s network of quality resorts. Animated lines illustrate exchanges and a scrolling ticker along the bottom displays the member’s first name and the name and location of the confirmed resort. The Exchange Tracker is just one component of Interval’s Sales Tool Kit App, which also includes the Interval HD video channel and a sales-friendly digital Resort Directory with high-quality images and detailed property and destination information.

“Our goal is to help drive home product credibility to close more deals. We’re excited to see our developer clients embracing these tools to bring new vacation owners to the industry,” Wilson added.

The awards, presented at a gala dinner, were chosen through a combination of online votes and judging by a panel of four industry experts. Nearly 200 delegates representing more than 100 companies attended GNEX 2014 to network, learn, and discuss issues relevant to the success of the shared-ownership industry.
